Cp_Oceanfortress

Hello, it's been a while since we created this blog, but I've finally done a bit of work on my concept for our TF2 Map: CP_Oceanfortress (Name in progress)

The image is the first stage, containing an overhead view. The style, or aim of this map is a tiny island in the middle of the ocean which is host to a secret doomsday device of RED (or BLU we haven't decided yet!) naturally BLU is a little keen to stop said doomsday device from operating and so launches an attack in their submarine. The first stage therefore, is from the submarine's arrival in the underground docking system of the island, and the attack from this to gain access to RED's lift up to the surface.

The aim is to create a fun and balanced three stage capture point map with an exotic and hopefully fresh location for players to explore. We're going to be doing this as a team effort in order to feed off each others input and criticisms.

I also made a welcome post, it is as follows:

Hello.
I go by the handle "Port"; my name is Jakob Widmer.
I am currently doing a Bachelor of Design with Majors in Architectural Studies.
It IS a Bachelor of Architecture at the Queensland Univeristy of Technology.
As someone who is passionate about games, games culture, but is knowledgeable about what makes good design, I offer my wisdom on both design in video games and ramblings about its culture.
Enjoy the blog Gresham and I are co-authoring.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to what will soon become the blog of Gresham and Haiku. As for myself, my name is Harley Gresham and I'm a student currently studying a Bachelor of Video Games and Interactive Entertainment at the Queensland University of Technology. From this online journal I'll be talking about the industry from a student's perspective, personal thoughts and asides, modding and video games in general. Cheers, and I hope you enjoy
